Dried botanical flowers in soft natural light

Our Story

A hobby that becamea calling.

What began as a personal obsession with bringing lasting natural beauty into the home grew into something we couldn't keep to ourselves.

How It Started

Born from a love of the enduring.

It started simply — a desire to fill a home with the beauty of botanicals without watching them wilt within the week. We began experimenting with preservation techniques, sourcing blooms at their peak and learning how to hold them there.

What started as a hobby became an obsession, and eventually a craft. Friends asked for arrangements. Then friends of friends. Before long, Home Floral Decor was born — not from a business plan, but from a genuine passion for beauty that lasts.

The Preservation Process

Nature, perfected and made permanent.

Every arrangement begins with flowers and botanicals harvested at the precise moment of peak bloom. From there, a careful multi-step preservation process locks in their color, texture, and form — indefinitely.

01

Sourcing at Peak Bloom

We work with specialist growers to source flowers at the exact moment they reach their fullest expression. Timing is everything — a day too early or too late changes the result.

02

Glycerin Preservation

Stems are placed in a glycerin solution that gradually replaces the plant's natural moisture. This process — taking days, not hours — keeps petals supple, vibrant, and true to their original form.

03

Natural Drying & Setting

Select botanicals are air-dried in controlled conditions to achieve their characteristic texture. Pampas grass, dried seed heads, and sculptural stems are treated this way for their architectural quality.

04

Hand-Composed Arrangements

Each arrangement is composed by hand, one stem at a time. There are no templates — every piece is considered as a whole, balancing form, texture, color, and scale.

Fresh vs. Preserved

Why preserved is better.

Lasts for years, not days

A preserved arrangement retains its beauty for two to five years with no maintenance. No water, no wilting, no waste.

No maintenance required

Simply place it and enjoy it. No watering, no trimming, no replacing. Just enduring beauty on your terms.

Allergy-friendly

Because preserved florals produce no pollen, they're a beautiful option for those who love flowers but can't live with fresh ones.

Sustainable by nature

One preserved arrangement replaces dozens of fresh bouquets over its lifetime — a more considered, less wasteful way to bring nature indoors.

What We Believe

Beauty should be enduring.

We believe the things you bring into your home should be chosen with intention and built to last. Every arrangement we create is made to become a permanent part of your space — something you'll still love years from now.
